REAPING THE HARVEST Is Publishing Now!

Reaping The HarvestAfter eight months, the time has finally come: REAPING THE HARVEST is heading out the door in ebook format! I just pulled the trigger on the versions for Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, iTunes/iBooks, Kobo, and Google Play. I’ll be publishing the Smashwords ebook edition tomorrow, then will be getting to work on formatting the print version, which should be available in a few weeks.

So, search your fave ebook retailer, keep hitting the refresh button (in about 12 hours or so), and tell all your friends! Oh, and most of all, I hope you enjoy the book!

I wish I had known this book would be offered free…I purchased the book…on release day…next day it was listed as free….not sure I like this type of launch…at very least a note to your email list letting us know it would be offered free or reduced…pricing would have been nice.

Diana – Season of the Harvest, the first book in the trilogy, was offered free to get people interested in the series. Reaping the Harvest is the third book that was just released and definitely is not free!

Michael, thanks for putting out the final Harvest book! Now I know you have a life to lead, but will you PLEASE finish the final First Empress book? Let someone else drive the RV for a while maybe, so you can write? ;-) Note to Diana: free is nice, but all of Hick’s books are worth buying. And even at full price, most Kindle books cost less than lunch at a fast food restaurant. Note to everyone: My only complaint about electronic books is that you can’t get the author to sign them. I was a publicist for years and my most prized possession is my library of signed books. I would dearly love to have a signed edition from Michael Hicks on that shelf, but alas print media and book signings are becoming a thing of the past.

I’ve been planning to offer signed editions of the books for sale, but that’s been one of those “get ’round to it” things that I haven’t managed to pull together yet… ;-)

Of course, you will let me know first so I can order the very first signed edition of every single book, right? ;-P That means I’ll have to buy them all over again, since I have the Kindle versions. But I’m saving up now for when you get around to that. Actually, having been a publicist, I am able to get signed books from authors I used to represent, and I always try to give them as gifts for birthdays, Christmas . . . That is a one size fits all gift that is always treasured by the recipient. Seriously, please do let readers know when you do get around to that. These days, having an in-print signed edition is like having your very own unicorn.

It seemed to be a rather long wait but it was worth it! Reaping the Harvest was indeed an excellent read. I now am looking forward to Mistress of the Ages and/or your next trilogy. Perhaps a prequel to the Harvest trilogy? Or maybe something completely new and exciting?!

I have really enjoyed the Harvest trilogy. the first was free and after reading it I had to read the other two. Really enjoyed this trilogy, could not leave my IPad long before I read all three. Would love to see more along this line, I have checked the other trilogies out and am not very interested in those story lines. Thank you for the Harvest series, I enjoyed them very much, and enjoyed the characters.
