The reason I flipped the order from what I’ve traditionally recommended is that a LOT of the folks who have read the Redemption trilogy never go on to read The Last War trilogy. For some, it’s because they’re afraid The Last War books won’t measure up, but for most it was that after reading Redemption they knew the end of the story and didn’t feel much of a compulsion to loop back around to the beginning…
