Here is an excellent sci-fi (with fantasy elements) trilogy (all three books in a single “omnibus” volume) by a relatively unknown author, Michael Hicks. It’s a great read and free today and tomorrow in Kindle e-book format. I have no tie to the author, just enjoy his books. I learned about this deal from his mailing list/blog that I joined last month after reading this trilogy – and, yes, I paid for it last month, but it was $5 well spent.
